Day Et A/S (hereafter referred to as Day Et) confirmed a breach in personal data security on the 21st of March 2024. This breach resulted from an attack of one of Day Et servers. The Day Et server contains the ERP software system (Enterprise Resource Planning software system), where data about both DAY ET’s wholesale customers (B2B) and end-consumers that have bought products on DAY ET’s official website (B2C) customers is stored.

The following information about B2C customers is stored:

  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone number

Data about B2C customers is only stored when purchases are made on the Day Et webshop (www.day-et.dk, www.day-et.com, www.day-et.de, www.day-et.se, www.day-et.no, www.day-et.co.uk).

The following information about B2B customers is stored:

  • Name

Day Et will post this message on all official websites to inform externally about the security breach. When the security breach was discovered on the 21st of March 2024, Day Et's server was immediately shut down, preventing external access to the data. In collaboration with our IT partner, several security measures were immediately implemented, including temporary surveillance and minimised traffic to the environments. Since then, several security routines have been established based on recommendations from our MFA-approved IT partner.

Day Et reported the security breach to Datatilsynet and the police on the 21st of March 2024. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us an email or give us a call.
